Resident Rights

As residents of the United States we all have certain rights.  COMAR 10.07.14 amongst other regulations was written with an intention to “maximize Independence and promote the principles of individuality, personal dignity, freedom of choice and fairness for all individual living in Assisted Living Programs while establishing reasonable standards to promote individual health and safety”.  Participants of this course will learn about these rights and how to uphold them to promote respect and dignity for the residents as they age in place.
