This course is designed to help Care givers with emergency disaster preparedness; understanding their role in providing continuity of care for residents in the event of a disaster. Participant will gain an understanding of the types of disasters that can have a direct impact on their residents and how to prepare for them. Coordinating of resources before, during and after a disaster is critical to alleviating or reducing catastrophes associated with disaster.
